Episode VII Dreadful Destiny

Joy! The Galactic Republic has been restored after a battle against a falling empire. It has been thirty seven years since the emperors life ended, the empire is truely over after many battles.

The new Jedi academy has been restored by Luke Skywalker and his twin sister Leia Skywalker. All seems perfectly well now that balance has been restored to the force. But some argue that the destruction of the sith truly isn't balance.

With the thought of the sith gone comes the mindless arrogance that they will never return. At least until a pod crashes on the fourth moon or Yavin where the academy is located. Master Skywalker and his fellow Jedi come to seek what it is...


Chapter 1

"Good day Master Klieg, how are the younglings fairing today in their studies?" said Leia.

"Some of them have their ups and downs but they all are doing well I suppose. Anything pressing presented in the senate for the day?" Klieg replied.

"Just remaking the old republic laws in place of the dogmatic emirial laws. So not much is coming up today I suppose..."

Leia was inturupted by an alarm on the radar.

"What is that?" Klieg.

"Something is coming into the atmosphere from deeper space." Leia replied.

"A Ship? Is it empirial?" Klieg shouted in distraut.

"No...It is far too small to be a ship, it appears to be an escape pod of some sort. That's strange because there is no larger ship anywhere near Yavin." Leia.

"Could it come from a ship with a cloaking device?"

"It's possible, the pod seems to be landing in the ancient ruins one mile west of here..." Leia

"Shall we call on Masters Skywalker and Salingi? They are in their chambers now..." Kleig

"Yes...Go with them, I shall tend to your younglings until you get back." Leia

"Yes Master..." Kleig

Klieg departs Leia and immediately runs to Lukes chambers but Luke wasn't there. Luke has already sensed the pod coming and summoned Masters Salingi and Dari. Luke meets Kleig at Salingis chambers and says:

"I have already sensed it, come with us Kleig...I have a strange feeling about this pod. Something seems at odds about this." Luke

"Do you think that any impirial stragglers are behind this?....Or maybe the sith still...." Kleig

"Nothing is for certail Master Kleig, remember that... Let us just go and see what this is all about." Dari

"Dari is right. Lets see if our feelings is correct on this matter or if it is minor paranoia." Luke

All: "Yes Master Skywalker."

The four Jedi masters venture out into the deep forests to the ancient Yavin ruins to find a heavily damaged pod in a pile of ruined rubble. Master Salingi uses his technological skills to attempt to open the pod. The computer systems on the pod are nothing put scrap metal now.

"The communications system, life support system, and basic functions of the pod are scrap...nothing could have survived this crash landing." Salingi

"All this happened in the crash? I thought these pods were meant to withstand the barrage of collisions that they might encounter..." Kleig

"Yes they are. But it looks like this was the condition of the pod before it left it parent vessel." Salingi

"But how can it be launched with the basic computing functions destroyed?" Dari

"Because it wasn't launched, it was tossed out as if it was garbage. Drifting across the system until it finally landed like it was a meteorite." Luke

Master Dari walks closer to the pod and places her hand on it. Closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.

"I feel something in there. I feel a pressence..." Dari

"You heard Master Salingi... Nothing could have survived that crash." Kleig

"Absolutely nothing could have." Salingi

"She's right, I feel it too." Luke

"Are you sure master? I mean, nothing and nobody could have...." Salingi

"Is your trust with the force really that misleading? The force has many ways of protecting a pressence of life in amazing ways... Open the pod." Luke

"The computer systems are down, it can't be opened in that manner." Salingi

"Then let us find a way to open it in a another manner, it is not like we are going to keep the pod as something near and dear to us." Luke

Luke grabbed his lightsaber and almost strucked the pod until he noticed some lightsaber scarring the the sides. Luke ignored it for now and used his lightsaber to cut open the pod door. The door was still attached when Luke said

"Lightsabers at the ready..."

All: "Yes Master"

Luke pulled off the door and looked to see a young man covered in blood and serious wounds. Luke could feel that he was barely clinging to life. Dari called a medical capsule to come over. The young man was taken to a facility to treat his wounds and to try to keep him alive. Many days later, Masters Skywalker and Dari overlook the young man with almost all of his wounds healed. They begin to converse over the unconcious body.

"What are we going to do with him? Do you think he is one of them?" Dari

"I do not know Dari...Just because we found a lightsaber on him does not mean a thing. We cannot tell if he is Jedi or Sith because the lightsaber does not seem to want to activate for anyone. It is possibly broken. All we can do is wait for him to awaken and to see what his story is..." Luke

Luke looked at Dari and saw that she couldn't keep her eyes off of the young man.

"What is it Dari?" Luke

"Nothing Master, I just wonder why I noticed his life force in the pod before you did. How did I do that?" Dari

"You care for him... at least a little. Don't you?" Luke

"It's just the connection I felt when the metal separated us. I felt something when no one else could." Dari

"Dari, you were the only one who felt his life. I didn't. I just wanted to know if your feelings were true before the pod was left to be ruins." Luke

"What does this mean Master?" Dari

"I do not know. But do me a favor Dari..." Luke

"Yes master, anything...." Dari

"Look after him. I cannot see his future, but I have a strong feeling that he has a clouded destiny. Imense power I feel in him. Both light and dark...The future for him is uncertain. When he wakes we will get answers. If he is not one of them, take care of him." Luke

"Yes master" Dari

Luke begins to leave the room. Dari notices that the young mans arms begin to move and shoulders shift.

"Master, I think he is awakening..." Dari

The young man moves his head around and opens his eyes. He jumps out of bed and backs into the corner.

"Who are you people?" ???

"Calm down, we are Jedi and your friends. We are not going to hurt you. What is your name?" Luke

"I....My name.....I don't...remember. Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing here?" ???

"My name is Luke Skywalker, this is Serene Dari. I am the Headmaster Jedi at the Yavin VI Jedi Academy, that is where we are now. We are two of the four Jedi who found you badly wounded and barely clinging to life in a wrecked escape pod. Do you remember anything of what went on before?" Luke

The young man looks around. Puts his hand on his head and tries to think.

"I don't know. I can't remember anything....nothing, that is all I have, that is all I am..." ???

"What shall we call you until you do remember? We can't go around and call you nothing..." Dari

"I don't know....anything I suppose." ???

"Let us call you Ghost until you remember the Ghosts of your past." Luke

"That's fine I suppose." Ghost

"Are you hungry?" Dari

"Yes, a bit..." Ghost

"Dari, take him to get whatever he needs and show him where he is staying for the night." Luke

"Yes master..." Dari

"What will become of me?" Ghost

"Tomorrow you and I will talk and see if we can do anything about your amnesia. Then take you around to meet everyone. Show you what we can do and then we shall see what you can do..."
